The river of time

After every play, when the podium lights are turned off, people leave and silence starts to dominate, we turn to ourselves, our inner beings and descend into our solitude.
The same thing happens in our lives. The old age, the final act of this tragicomedy play called life is the time when we start losing our acquaintances and friends one way or another, when our children are becoming more distant cause they are too busy with their lives, the time when we slowly but irreversibly falling into obscurity and loneliness from where there’s only one way out. The uncertainty that was our constant companion through the life is replaced by a big certainty that lures and awaits us in the darkness.
All the things we have learned, all the precious memories of our families, children, friends, places we have been and acquired during this journey called life, all the moments that left us in awe, all the achievements, pleasures and sadness we have experienced, all of this will be lost like a drop of rain in the river of time.
